Inspired by pebbles and smoothed stone, the Roundstone Vase has a low, curved form and matte finish. Its quiet shape fits beautifully on low tables, shelves, or grouped with other ceramics. The opening is wide enough for small arrangements or single branches, but the piece also holds its own as sculpture. Each vase is subtly unique, with gentle imperfections that reflect the hand-building process. The surface is soft to the touch, and the weight is balanced and grounded. It’s a calming presence in any space — simple, tactile, and easy to live with.
At Clay + Coast, we believe in the quiet power of handmade objects. Each piece that leaves our studio carries the rhythm of human touch — shaped by intention, not perfection. We embrace slow processes, natural materials, and the beauty that comes from imperfection. Our work is rooted in the idea that functional objects can still be deeply personal, quietly expressive, and part of a more mindful daily life.
Our ethos is grounded in community, creativity, and connection to place. We’re inspired by the West Coast’s textures and tones — ocean-worn stones, shifting tides, coastal light. Whether you’re joining a workshop or holding a finished piece in your hands, we hope to share a little of that grounding calm. We’re not here to mass-produce — we’re here to shape objects with care, one piece at a time.
Objects that are made slowly and intentionally, with care in every detail.
Form meets function — pottery meant to be lived with daily.
Inspired by coastal textures, tides, and the rich Pacific landscape.
A shared space for learning, making, and creative connection.
