Tall, slim, and softly structured, the Quiet Vase is made for single stems, wildflowers, or to stand sculptural and empty. Its surface is glazed in a soft, satin finish that catches just enough light. The silhouette is simple but confident, creating visual rest wherever it’s placed. Whether on a mantle, table, or shelf, it invites calm. Each piece is hand-finished and slightly unique, showing subtle differences in shape and tone. It’s a supporting piece — humble, elegant, and quietly essential.
At Clay + Coast, we believe in the quiet power of handmade objects. Each piece that leaves our studio carries the rhythm of human touch — shaped by intention, not perfection. We embrace slow processes, natural materials, and the beauty that comes from imperfection. Our work is rooted in the idea that functional objects can still be deeply personal, quietly expressive, and part of a more mindful daily life.
Our ethos is grounded in community, creativity, and connection to place. We’re inspired by the West Coast’s textures and tones — ocean-worn stones, shifting tides, coastal light. Whether you’re joining a workshop or holding a finished piece in your hands, we hope to share a little of that grounding calm. We’re not here to mass-produce — we’re here to shape objects with care, one piece at a time.
Objects that are made slowly and intentionally, with care in every detail.
Form meets function — pottery meant to be lived with daily.
Inspired by coastal textures, tides, and the rich Pacific landscape.
A shared space for learning, making, and creative connection.
