Softly curved and delicately flared, the Petal Plate adds a gentle rhythm to your table. Its shape was inspired by open flowers, and it works beautifully for small dishes, snacks, or desserts. The glaze breaks across the rim, adding texture and variation to the surface. Light plays on its curves in quiet ways. Stackable and easy to handle, it’s a practical favorite with subtle detail. Part of a set or standing alone, it adds a little softness to every meal.
At Clay + Coast, we believe in the quiet power of handmade objects. Each piece that leaves our studio carries the rhythm of human touch — shaped by intention, not perfection. We embrace slow processes, natural materials, and the beauty that comes from imperfection. Our work is rooted in the idea that functional objects can still be deeply personal, quietly expressive, and part of a more mindful daily life.
Our ethos is grounded in community, creativity, and connection to place. We’re inspired by the West Coast’s textures and tones — ocean-worn stones, shifting tides, coastal light. Whether you’re joining a workshop or holding a finished piece in your hands, we hope to share a little of that grounding calm. We’re not here to mass-produce — we’re here to shape objects with care, one piece at a time.
Objects that are made slowly and intentionally, with care in every detail.
Form meets function — pottery meant to be lived with daily.
Inspired by coastal textures, tides, and the rich Pacific landscape.
A shared space for learning, making, and creative connection.
