The Gathering Set includes six ceramic pieces intended for shared meals and relaxed hosting. Featuring a mix of plates, bowls, and serving forms, each item is hand-built and slightly different — giving the set a collected, human feel. The glaze is soft and neutral, pairing easily with any setting. Use it for dinner parties, family-style meals, or as a starter set for thoughtful everyday use. The forms are durable, versatile, and quietly elegant. Designed to make table-setting simple and beautiful, this set encourages slowing down and enjoying meals together, with objects that feel lived in from the start.
At Clay + Coast, we believe in the quiet power of handmade objects. Each piece that leaves our studio carries the rhythm of human touch — shaped by intention, not perfection. We embrace slow processes, natural materials, and the beauty that comes from imperfection. Our work is rooted in the idea that functional objects can still be deeply personal, quietly expressive, and part of a more mindful daily life.
Our ethos is grounded in community, creativity, and connection to place. We’re inspired by the West Coast’s textures and tones — ocean-worn stones, shifting tides, coastal light. Whether you’re joining a workshop or holding a finished piece in your hands, we hope to share a little of that grounding calm. We’re not here to mass-produce — we’re here to shape objects with care, one piece at a time.
Objects that are made slowly and intentionally, with care in every detail.
Form meets function — pottery meant to be lived with daily.
Inspired by coastal textures, tides, and the rich Pacific landscape.
A shared space for learning, making, and creative connection.
