Form Plate

Name: Form Plate
SKU: CC-GOODS-018
Availability: InStock

$112.00

The Form Plate is minimal, balanced, and slightly irregular — just enough to feel human. Its low rim and smooth surface make it perfect for everyday meals, layered settings, or small gatherings. The glaze is soft and matte, highlighting the hand-built shape beneath. Lightweight yet durable, it stacks well and pairs beautifully with other ceramic pieces. Use it daily or keep a few on hand for shared lunches and casual dinners. It’s a plate that doesn’t try too hard but always delivers — easy to live with, satisfying to hold, and quietly beautiful in use.

Each Clay + Coast piece is hand-formed in small batches, shaped with intention, and finished by touch — no two are exactly alike.

The Clay + Coast Ethos

Description

At Clay + Coast, we believe in the quiet power of handmade objects. Each piece that leaves our studio carries the rhythm of human touch — shaped by intention, not perfection. We embrace slow processes, natural materials, and the beauty that comes from imperfection. Our work is rooted in the idea that functional objects can still be deeply personal, quietly expressive, and part of a more mindful daily life.

Our ethos is grounded in community, creativity, and connection to place. We’re inspired by the West Coast’s textures and tones — ocean-worn stones, shifting tides, coastal light. Whether you’re joining a workshop or holding a finished piece in your hands, we hope to share a little of that grounding calm. We’re not here to mass-produce — we’re here to shape objects with care, one piece at a time.
